Affirmative Action to Affirming Diversity

Affirmative action seems in working towards ensuring that the minority groups are progressing.  Affirmative action is supposed to ensure that women and people from minority racial groups get chances to work in the corporate sector.  There seems be a problem with people who get job vacancies just because they belong to a particular gender or race. Companies do not seem to know how to act around them (Roosevelt, 3). Most managers feel that if they give people who got jobs just because they belong to a particular gender or race opportunities they may seem like they are favouring them.

Companies should start learning how to affirm diversity in that they should be able to deal with people from different races and gender. They should also teat them the same as far as their performances are good enough.  There is however another reason why affirmative action is no longer effective which is lack of determination and hard work from people who b.............
